Overview
These Terms of Service apply to all website design, hosting, domain, tech support, and related services provided by EARV Tech. By hiring us or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Payment
Services are paid by Square (card or invoice) or by cash. Fees are due as stated in your quote or invoice. Services beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges, including domain registration, transfer and renewal, professional email services, web hosting, and SSL certificates.
Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund and Returns Policy.
Domain Names and Ownership
You may unlink your domain from EARV Tech and take full ownership and control of it at any time, subject to our Domain Ownership and Unlinking Policy, which is part of this agreement. In summary:
- A one-time unlinking fee of $75 per domain applies. It is waived for clients in good standing with EARV Tech for 12 months or longer.
- Release requires a written request, all outstanding invoices paid in full, and payment of the unlinking fee.
- We will release the domain, or complete the disconnection, within 5 business days after payment, subject to registrar and ICANN transfer rules.
- Unlinking a domain does not cancel hosting, maintenance, or support services, and cancelling those services does not by itself unlink a domain.
Service Area and Travel Fees
We provide on-site services throughout all of Delaware and up to 100 miles beyond. Service locations farther than 100 miles are by special arrangement only.
- Travel is measured from our base in Dover, DE.
- There is no travel fee for locations within 10 miles of Dover.
- For locations beyond 10 miles, a travel fee of $0.75 per mile applies to each mile past the first 10, in each direction (round trip).
- The travel fee is quoted before your appointment is booked and must be agreed to in advance.
- Remote services, such as remote support and website work, have no travel fee.
Example: a location 25 miles from Dover is 15 miles past the free zone each way. That is 30 miles round trip at $0.75 per mile, or a $22.50 travel fee.
Travel fees are in addition to the service fee. Because fuel prices change, we may adjust the per-mile rate; the rate shown on your quote is the rate that applies to your visit.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to new work. Changes will not alter the terms of a signed agreement without your consent.
